The Great Wolf Lodge is great big fun!!!

Welcome to the Great Wolf Lodge Brad, Ceilidh, Noah and I spent Tuesday night and most of Wednesday at the Great Wolf Lodge. They had discount rooms for a special promotion and my BRILLIANT husband booked one for us. The room was huge with a great romantic fireplace and a nice balcony with a huge bed and a kitchenette. The kids had their own "cabin" complete with bunkbeds and their own tv and video game system. Ceilidh was so excited that she could lay in bed and watch Treehouse!!! We spent most of Tuesday evening in the water park but made it to the lobby in time for the bedtime story. The animals in the photo move and talk and there was a guy named Jay who told the kids 2 stories. We had breakfast early and then hit the water park again. After many water slides and rides and wave pool time we came home and collapsed. Kids and dad slept in today but did make it to school on time. We have many photos and many memories of all the fun we had. The one that stands out the most is when we all went on one raft slide and Noah was laughing so hard he completely missed the ride. He kept saying "Is that it? What happened? Is it done? Again again again". So of course we did it a few more times.

I highly recommend this place. I don't think I would ever pay the $500.00 a night they ask for it but the discount day was perfect. The food there was just ok but everything else was fabulous. Very clean and the lifeguards were friendly and really alert. Ceilidh had one little upset and the lifeguard was instantly over to her. The only thing that wasn't so great was I forgot that people with MVP's are supposed to stay away from humidity and extreme temps. So after a few hours straight in the water park Wednesday I got, well, sick. But other than that I'd go back again in a heartbeat. We really, really, really enjoyed the time together as a family and Brad and I really needed the break away from everything. We came home to 7 messages on our answering machine but oh well, such is life.

So if you ever get the chance to go...GO, DO IT!! It's well worth it - so much fun. Sorry I'm ranting now. Anyway it was fun. Yeah Oh yeah. Can we swim now? Ooooh water slides! I
