I got my hair cut today

Yes sir I finally did it. I reached the end of a very long year and a deal I made with my husband has finally come to an end. A year ago at Christmas time I agreed to let my hair grow and not touch it for one year. I did this because Brad loves me with long hair. When we met I had long hair and when we started dating I had long hair and he has always bugged me to grow my hair and keep it long. I got so frustrated at him always bugging me I decided to compromise. I would keep it long one last time for an entire year - and I did. But today the gigantic mass of bushy gray hair is gone - and I mean gone!!!! The guy at the salon asked me three times if I was sure I wanted it cut this short. I said "off with it baby" and that's exactly what he did - it's gone - yeah, whoopie, yeehaw!!! Sorry Brad but you know how much I hate it long. So, part of the arrangement was that after keeping it long for an entire year for Brad, I can now keep my hair any way I wish and he can't bug me about it. He may not be happy but he cannot keep at me about it - OR GUILT ME!!! So, I'm pretty sure my hair will stay short now until the end of my days. I have the "old lady" hairstyle now...and I couldn't be happier!!! So you'll have to let me know what you think of it - the next time you see me. I'd rather you see it up close than over the internet so the only photo you will see on this blog today is what my hair looked like before I left the house this morning to go and get it all chopped off.
