We had a great weekend...

It all started Thursday actually. My husband and I got to go out to bible study Thursday night while Chrissy graciously watched our children. Then Friday night Brad, the kids and I went to the Community Dinner at church and had lots of fun. It was so busy we had to play in the nursery while Chris and Brad waited to nab a table. Then Brad and I had the rest of the evening alone after the kids went to bed. Saturday Stephen came over for a visit while Brad and Chris went to their deacon's meeting. The kids had a grrrreat time. I had a lot of fun too with them. It was great. Then Chris and Brad and I had lunch together which was nice. Saturday night the hockey game was awful (Leafs lost 7-0 to Ottawa) so we turned the tv to the Billy Graham crusade and cuddled up to watch that. We all missed Chrissy this weekend something terrible and we pray they all had a great time at Avalanche. I cannot express how much I LOVE spending time with my family. And I am so thankful for the time God gives me alone with Brad. We have a date weekend coming up that I am really looking forward to. The first weekend in Feb we are going to Grandma's for the weekend and Saturday night Brad and I are going into Toronto to grab dinner at Mr Greenjeans (old favourite haunt) and then make our way over to Massey Hall to see Colin James (too cool) and then we are going to the hotel we stayed at on our wedding night. We will spend the night there and then grab breakfast the next day and then pick up the kids from my mom and head home. It should be fabulous. Anyway the absolute best part of the past weekend was having time to pray with Brad. Before bed Friday night we must have spent about a half an hour praying together and it was amazing.
